BOARDING SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Boarding at Tidewater K-9 Academy, follow up at our Academies or in your home

Boarding School: The Ultimate On-Lead Program
We take & train the dog in our boarding kennel for 10-14 days for On-Lead Obedience, Manners and Behavior Problem Solving. Have 6 weeks, 1X/week of follow up sessions with the owners for transfer of training & further development.  Ages 14 wks and older. Personalized to you.

Boarding College: The Ultimate Freedom Program
We take & train the dog in our boarding kennel for 18-21 days for On & Off-Lead Obedience Manners and Behavior Problem Solving.  Have 8 weeks, 1X/week of follow up sessions with the owners for transfer of training & further development. Ages 16 wks and older.  Personalized to you.

GROUP PROGRAMS

How to Choose Your Best Friend
1.5 hr class.  Considering getting a dog? Try this seminar (also available as a fundraiser for your pet friendly organization). Temperament testing, lifestyle, breed characteristics, coat, health considerations. The right individual dog for YOU!

Puppy Class Group Seminar
1.5 hour course. Safest Puppy group class - owners only! Getting off to the right start: Housebreaking, play biting, crate training, vet preparation, nutrition & grooming; appropriate chewing & toys, playing right games.

Semi-Private Small Group Program
Only 4 dogs and their humans. Dogs at least 16 weeks old. 8 week Course
Follows the Private On-Lead Obedience program. Commands such as Walk, Sit, Down, Verbal Release,  Come, Heel, Close, Stand, Sit, Down & Stand Stays, Manners, Behavior Problem Solving, Grooming & Nutritional Guidance. The distraction & socialization of a group with more attention from the trainer. Learn more, faster and better!

On-Lead Obedience: Comprehensive
Dogs 14 weeks & older. 8 week course. Personalized to you!

Advanced On-Lead obedience 8-12 commands, Manners, Blend Commands, Behavioral Problems Solved. Grooming and nutritional consultation. 
8 week course, 4 future distraction group classes

Off-Lead Obedience: The ULTIMATE freedom for your dog!
On-Lead Obedience Required. Dogs at least 16 weeks old. 8 week course. Advanced Obedience. All commands learned off lead, plus Poison Proofing, Return to Owner.
50' light line required

A-la-Carte: Any 4 commands off-lead.

ON-OFF Lead Combo Program: Ultimate Freedom Faster

10- 11 week course

Advanced obedience, combining the On & Off lead programs.

Guard Deterrent Dog
Dogs at least 10 months old. Home & Family, Alarm, Courage, Perimeter training, Non-Biting. We teach your dog when to and how to mount an effective defensive threat & deterrent. On-lead and some off-lead obedience required.

Personal Protection Dog
Dogs at least 10 months old. GDD training + bite & attack work. Ultimate friendly family protector. You can trust this dog ANYWHERE and around ANYBODY. Unique program designed by TK9A. Evaluation & Off-lead control required.

Temperament Testing Service
Want the pick of the litter? Found a puppy or an adult dog, but wonder if it will be the right dog for YOU and YOUR family? We can temperament test the dog or the entire litter for you to make sure you have the perfect dog for you.

Puppy Class Private
Get off to the right start! Housebreaking, play biting, crate training, vet preparation, nutrition & grooming; appropriate chewing & toys, playing right games. Designed for pups 8-14 weeks of age.  1 hr

Private Class/Behavior Modification Session
